Tips for Statistical Tools for Research Methods in Exercise and Sport Sciences

Study purpose. The increasing amount of research in Exercise and Sport Sciences emphasized the use increasingly heuristic statistical tools appropriate to aim terms qualitative, quantitative, qualitative-quantitative data. Often, a lack knowledge their appropriateness for data analysis, especially between parametric non-parametric techniques, is encountered by researchers. This requires indispensable experts, who, comprehensive understanding design, need human economic resources that could probably be used differently more efficiently. this study was provide list most methods Sciences, focusing on distinction processing both quantitative qualitative research. Materials methods. method literature review with argumentative elaborations concerning validity tools. Results. A total 22 tools, non-parametric, were found: 5 useful test relationship, 7 compare two groups 10 or groups. For each tool, scientific paper related collected. Conclusions. These allow developing potential guidelines, applying rigorous model projects systematic complete hypothesis study.
